Јодираната сол е кујнска сол, се меша со мали количини на различни видови на јод како калиум јодид, натриум јодид, и натриум јодат. Јодот му е потребен на човечкото тело во многу мали количини и користењето на јодизирана сол се верува дека ја намалува инциденцата на недостаток на јод и други сродни нарушувања како што се ментална ретардација и проблеми со тироидната жлезда. Јодираната сол е во вестите кратко по неуспехот на нуклеарната централа Фукушима во Јапонија. Се смета дека конзумирање на јодирана сол исто така може да не заштити од изложеност на радијација што предизвика панично купување на јодирана сол во Кина.
